On the Menu: Apple Sage Crepes

We stumble upon vegan food blogs and from time to time that feature our products! We are always interested to see what is done with Field Roast Grain Meats that we may have not thought of before. David found this recipe for Apple Sage Sausage Crepes, and I wanted to start sharing customer recipes that highlight our meats! Chef Mel has unique recipes and beautiful pictures on her vegan food blog Veglicious from all sorts of culinary traditions.

“I grew up cooking with my mother and helping to prepare family meals at home. Her own background introduced me to a menu that drew from Vietnamese, Chinese, French, and American influences; she recognized the importance of cooking as both a valuable life skill, and as a creative means to draw people and communities together."

" Now, as an adult, I have taken the skills and techniques she taught me into my own vegan kitchen, and greatly enjoy cooking meals and treats to share with my friends and family. I often find myself missing dishes from my childhood and appreciate the challenge of recreating them with cruelty-free ingredients. I created Veglicious so that others can try the recipes as well, and perhaps be inspired to rediscover their own favorites. I was never a big fan of meat analogues until my boyfriend, a long-time vegan himself, who regularly consumes about 12 Field Roast sausages a week, introduced me to them.”
